Who We Are


I am a young mum who lives in the Bridgnorth area, working part time in a local nursery. My little girl loves her books and sharing a book together is such joy, through Usbourne Books i will be able to get some savings together for our little family and develop a small library for my daughter at home. I've always loved Usborne books and when I heard of Usborne Books at home it was an opportunity I couldn't miss. Signing up was a win win situation for me, earning some additional money, working from home around my daughters routine, Spending time exploring Usborne books and getting a Free stash of books for my little girl to keep.

'Children are made readers in the laps of their parents'
I believe reading with children is essential to children's growth and development, and such activities are great bonding experiences too.

I am a Graduate with BA Hons Childhood Studies and Education in which i focused my dissertation on reading to children and the relation to children's attainment grades. I found parents reading to children even into their later reading stages had a profound affect upon the achievements made by their children in English at school. This only adds to my emphasis on encouraging parents to share books with children.
